I found this story extremely entertaining. The writing style is unique with flair, and I was easily captivated by the intriguing mystery behind the words themselves. I compliment you on having such a... well, very memorable idea, story, and, clearly, a passion for words. Until next time, TAS.

I am getting unbeleivably sappy about this fic. It was just lovely, and the quote at the end finished it perfectly. It's very peaceful; a sense of eternity and change intertwined. All in all, I quite liked it!

That was very unexpected! Perenelle Flamel... you're right, she is little-known. This was really imaginative. Good one.

Simply wonderful. The first story about Perenelle (such an ironic name) that I have seen. I quite agree with you...monologues are an interesting sub-genre of fanfiction. They give you the opportunity to really explore one person's psyche. You have done an admirable job with a character we otherwise would not have the chance to know.

Her name was Perenelle? And here I thought she was just a bit player. Now she comes alive in the story.

I liked this, it was something new, and definatly a different take on this huge, wide world of Harry Potter, where even characters as important as Neville, Seamus, and Dean are only mentioned when convient. This was very good. "If he ever succeeds, I pity him." Great line! I think that the worst punishment would be to be made to live forever, knowing whatever you've done will haunt you forever . . . Anyway. Cool. Can't wait to read your other POV of little-mentioned characters!

An original concept if I ever read one. The gentle, drifting cadence works beautifully. Absolutely marvelous.

oh...my...god...wow! it took me until she said her surname to figure out who it was, but wow! it was sad and yet...not...oh god, are you goig to write more? i'd love to read more monologues...this one was so well written...brilliant!

I loved this! I never really thought about Perenelle, her name is only mentioned just the once I think. It is a very well-written story, with just the type of thoughts to be expected from a 600-year-old woman.
