Cool. I like Cassa's attitude and the way you're developing the relationships. Jade's such a hard ass though, but I guess that's just the way he is.

Heh. Well, I'm glad to see that you have decided to continue updating. To be honest, I had forgotten about it, but was pleasently surprised when I saw that you had updated as I am stuck doing nothing at school until, for another three hours.
The anmosity between Cassa and Jade is quite amusing. They`re both quite stubborn aren`t they? Well, I suppose we'll see what happens.

Love the Jade and Cassa interaction. I think Jade's personality is about spot-on and Cassa's obstinate and rude nature make her more appealing. Everything is developing very nicely and I can't wait to see what you do with the story.

and... what? It just cuts off there.
According to some, a Mary-Sue can be any original character implicated within a particular fandom. While it is true that you need to be careful, I am not finding Cassa to have fallen over that edge quite yet. I believe Cassa's name fine, especially when compared to Tear's full name. And unlike a whole legion of Mary-Sues, the male population isn't falling over themselves to kiss Cassa's boots. I enjoy her personality, her rude frankness and all. She isn't sickly sweet or... noble (*coughNataliacough*), and unlike Mary-Sues, I can see that she will have 'character-development', meaning she will change, evolve, over the course of the story.
I never do understand flames. If you don't enjoy the story why do you bother reading it? I personally write for the enjoyment of it, of creating something new from something that piqued my interest. While comments and support are important to me, I don't need them to continue. Flames are pointless and rude, and I'm glad that the one you had received hasn't discouraged you from continuing.

Wow. Cassa is a typical Mary Sue. She's got it all: stupid name, beautiful looks, a special talent no one else has (fonic sage) and close relationships with key players in the game. Not only that, this isn't a story about anyone BUT her. Let me use my super-sue-skills to deduce she's going to fall in love with Jade!
