A good chapter that ties up a rather sticky loose end. I'd wondered how you were going to deal with the threat that was Alan. Gisborne it seems has no love for traiters. (Does anyone?) Perhaps he believes that - If they'll betray someone to him for gold. They'll betray him to a higher bidder later.) On the other hand, I doubt that Robin and company will take kindly to this turn of events.

Ch 1-13 a good story, well written and quite readable. Alan's betrayal, coupled with new found love and Sir Edward's death make for a interesting mix. But they do move the story along rather nicely. I look forward to reading more.
To my mind the outlaws made the wrong choice regarding Alan. He had first betrayed them out of greed and self preservation. Now, furter motivated by revenge, he has no reason to maintain even a semblance of loyalty. (Neither betraying Marian or helping to kill Robin) I suspect that somewhere between fluffy interludes that their mercy will come back to haunt them.
