I've always liked stories with a lot of descriptions and metaphors and your's has a bucket load. I like the way you've descriped the Nottingham of the 21st century. It makes me want to stay away from the place.
I'm looking forward to seeing Rose's character grow throughout the upcoming chapters. Btw, good job on not revealing her name until half way through the chapter.
