Lovely. They dodged the bullet with her mother just so. This could have happened this way, but on the balcony it was even more emotional. This version is good in its own right.

All in all I like the plot of the story and Mick meeting or running into Beth's mother is a nice little glitch to their relationship. :-) Mick must have looked VERY remorseful in the hall when Beth confronted him on not telling her before though as we all know Beth does not like to be left out of info and I think she would have been more than a little ticked off that Mick waited so long to tell her. Granted she would forgive him but not without a good reprimand first. *grin*
