No matter whether it was a bit rushed or not, it was quite a lovely piece and good for a smile, actually humourous in a way which many fics that attempt to be are not. I enjoyed reading this; if nothing else it is nice to come across something written from Gimli's point of view, when he is often placed aside for the characters whom the author prefers. Trying to do some of his lines in the voice that was given to him in the film was enough to make me start to laugh, but the fluid style of writing and the good grasp of the English language for that matter would bely this work's place as a comedy. Quite delightful.
