I know it's been a while since you finished this story but I hope you are still around. This is one of the few stories I have found here that I have read straight through because it was so good I couldn't put my smartphone down until I finished. You are amazing! Thank you for adding such rich detail to Pern's universe. Now I think it's time to charge my battery...again...and catch up on some chores. I'll be dreaming of dragons and dragonriders the whole time!

I did wonder after the tropical storm, in earlier chapter, when a stagnant type puddle was mentioned about cholera. It reminded me of Big Stink in London in 1850's. Now I am convinced. The clue og damp passageway when Cally was doing 'mucking out'. Good story.

I have read the the whole series- from breaking free to this one and they are all so awsome that i think that you could make another one!
One thing i noted though was that it would be nice if you made a story with a young boy as the main character.
It would also be pretty cool if you could get him to travel around to other weyrs for some reason, and some other places too, like cove hold.

This was very good. I shall have to read Lystar's story tomorrow more than likely. I confess to have mainly read this to cheat and find out what happens with Kat and Jassor. I was somehow not surprised to find them weyrmates. They work well together in my opinion.

I was wondering all through this story how Meliana would get over her infatuation with K'beth, considering he is already taken...
You've wrapped it up nicely. This was a great plot and all your characters are incredible, well done!
