Interesting start. Did you make up all these events or were they in the actual story; a part I didn't watch yet? I should download some of them to watch on the plane ride to Aruba in a week :P But I can do that over the weekend...
Lol, I knew they wouldn't throw Combustion Man away that easily :D I guess he was basically to help Aang join the group. And what is this about an upside down air temple? That's a little weird... I guess only airbenders can access it, but what about those air nomads who aren't so lucky to airbend? Would they just not appear at this temple?
Well, I had seriously get back to work now. I don't want to sleep at midnight again. I really need my 8 hrs every night. Maybe I'll just respond to your response later if I have time...
Oh and I hope Avatar Kuruk gets his wife back :)

I like it so far, I take it that he joins with azula and zuko in an alternate universe learns the lesson and then is sent back to his own with a better understanding of azula and the fire nation? (Correct me if I'm wrong)

I can't wait for the next chapter. Also, like how Aang will be, I will probably find it surprising to see Zuko and, especially, Azula being the ones on the good guys side. It's almost like imagening Azula as Snow white. That's even more surprising.
