I Hope to see Dan/Dark danny in this fic, he is a perfect for a vilain because of this War.
I hope his futur will be horrible like both the humain dimention and the Ghost zone merge into one dimention as a consequence of the war and Dan rule as a tyran.
Heck and to make it worst having the Realm of Forever Sleep and Nightmare realm merged with it with pariah and other nightmare thing living being free.
I was excepting with Clockwork paradox no longer being gardien that Dark Danny would have appared.

The 'he does not like doing business in the house thing' is not a realistic excuse in that profession. (looking at the set up the house, they would definitely have had at least business parties in which they talk about that stuff) this is a epic chapter, there are times in which I wish you could just publish two chapters rather than making one mega 40,000 word chapter between events. (if only because I lose my place every time my phone reloads and have to manually scroll in which I am sometimes scared I would go too far and spoil something) I think it would have been asked natural to end it after the guys in white left Vlad's mansion. (but that is not related to your skill as a writer,more posting) still thanks for making recaps now,it is very useful. I enjoyed the tour of the castle portion very much. this was a chapter of many many set up things from ember to the human world.

I actually wrote a paragraph when I stopped midway for a break (around the tadpole pond) about understanding if those two might not get together after a decade of 'canon' but at the end I can see how it might happen. it was great to see Gregor come back to see a specific agent though I do not think the apartment did not need the amount of trashing you gave it. (unless I am missing something, it seems the only issue is that it has a small kitchen) but that is basically nitpicking, this was great.

There is still a lot of revelations and stuff to be had. At this point I’m not sure how you plan to wrap up everything including the multiple sub plots throughout this story. We got the subplot with freak show, we got the personal score with Thomas chrome and vlad, the hopeful eventual revelation of walker and spectra’s betrayal, the secret of Danny’s heritage, and so much more. Guess we’ll find out how this all wraps up…

No need to apologise for the wait. It happens

Once again, fanfiction failed to send me an update message. So it's only thanks to me every so often checking this story I happened to notice ch 70. Thankfully it's a sunday so I had time to straight dive into it

Beautiful chapter as always. Less of a rollercoaster this time as the chapter's pacing leant more towards the heartwarming feeling in general, rather than extreme opposites. Danny x Sam and Phantom x Sam are definitely my favourite bits. Really well written and romantic; really made me squeal as I swimmed through the words, nonstop

Finally, Danny did the intelligent thing that is explain is pov. The 'why' he 'knows best', aka, that he can literally feel Tom is a terrible human being. There's also the fact that while the ghosts seem to be enslaving humans due needing to be forceful due not enough hands to ensure a nicer proper ruling and the literal fact that they are being hunted due being considered monsters, ghosts are the least racists due all being racist, and respect all life in better ways. Danny has access to the internet. The more he learns and realizes the extenct of human propaganda, human wars, etc, the more proof he'll have humans have always been in conflict and it has nothing to do with ghosts.
Plus there was also the huge matter that the Fenton parents were planning a genocide by literally destroying the entire ghost world, which is proof ghosts literally need to fight back before one mistake (aka one single tech advancement) can end in them all dying, which yes, is worse and more cruel than what ghosts are doing. But I seem to remember that fact was only known by them two? So it makes sense Danny cant bring that up yet. There's also the the unnerving fact of Tom wanting to milk Danny like a cow, but that falls in the same cattegory. I couldnt help but laugh when you wrote: "As much as I hate the idea of capturing Phantom and keeping him alive, that makes sense." You have definitly something planned there

Danny learning of valeries father and everything related to that was cool

It would also be cool had danny told sam of a secret word that would hint to a meeting place were he want them to privately talk again without the need to creepily infiltrate into her room in the middle of the night haha

The videogame bit I loved as 1 proof that Danny has much to learn of the good things humans can do and their potential if they were to end the war by offering each other out. Honestly, I cant help but picture again and again how a cataclismic event, similar to the show's end, is what will make them humans notice the same from ghosts. Like, with so many abilities, they can predict a tsunami before it happens, evacuate and save the humans, and say 'as your rulers it is our duty to protect you. Pay it no mind' which would lead to ask for volunteers to teach ghosts on human things and ghosts offering the same, in hopes to improve both sides for the better. I mean, even the dragon kingdom would have to admit the internet/instant chatting is pretty cool. But they even fail to accept they are sexist, so... well, here's to hoping. At least gregor tried. Clap for effort

I think danny could've done a better speach in ch69, although you probably did so intentionally to make the conflict last instead of making him more empathetic from humans pov watching. Because from that speech, many thing will come into motion, as already is happening here.

Despite not doing his worst, Danny definitely made himself suspicious for Tom. I feel like it would make Tom less suspicious of him if Danny had told him 'I dont like you because I feel like your connection to ghosts is putting a huge target on our backs, more with your reputation and last nights phantom message. Also we are powerful-rich so we know all the tricks of people approaching us through a pretty front in hopes to take advantage of us in the worst way possible, and then manipulating the resulting damage into placing the blame on others for further control). But well, enough got conveyed and it was still awesome and amazing he was surprised-met by his mother's murderer and torturer and still managed to collect himself.

I expected nothing less of vlad: explaining baby danny's death to actual danny so the fenton's wouldnt twist the truth. Honestly, I would have done the same. More since he wants to kill them

Vlad-Danny relationship is cool as always but hopefully we'll see more of Danny on his own, specially in amity park. Its super important to the plot but it also becomes repetitive and consuming, which is perfect since Danny is a teen and in need to spend more time finding his own self

Danny meeting Jazz is something that I have lots of expectation! Meeting the teens and fenton family in general will be cool but specially Jazz
