Hey Kanius, I have already read Gaiden’s final chapter of YYGDM's future and the changes in life months back, but never felt of reviewing it and would have save my review for a future A/Ns in the planned Defiants. However, after enduring the stressful year that is 2020, I take back of what I just did and finally post this overdue review to soften the concerns and make up to you and the others.
So my review of the final Gaiden: I felt it was genuinely bittersweet. Nice that you use the Toonami final song back in 2008 in this Gaiden as a coincidence. I see Pluto talking to Cosmos in the aftermath of this situation and the pyrrhic victories, especially the Defiants conflict will be much harder than Zeed X’s (and unlike Zeed X who has the black humor for us to laugh with, the Defiants is 100% full out seriousness and cynicism). Now that the Anti Demon forces are around with the Spirit Detectives are ready for them, I see that some of the Makai demons have escaped to the human world. Yeah, Seto is going to have a serious hands full of discussing with Cain about the Duel Monsters ordeal, even Joey and Seto finally bury the hatchet of their former antagonism and slowly become proper allies/friends. Usagi thinks of Zeed X’s words and knowing she’ll have two more turns of becoming Cosmos before being gone for good. Seeing Sailor O briefly see her former teammates, the ‘life from Christina’ would have come out, only that Sailor O as a split personality/identity keep the Christina personality sealed similar to Sasha/Inner Skuld (Except ‘Sailor O’ remains a destructive persona who is not going to turn good and not making amends with Christina (unlike Sasha/Inner Skuld) in showing the Sailor O persona remains an enemy to the heroes). The Tamers’ final scene (Especially Adora remains sneering at Kotori and remains not friends with the Tamers) makes sense since Takato is the main perspective hero in YYGDM and we’ll see him playing the major/main role in Defiants with the ideas we plan on bringing to our dear gogglehead. (K’s response to that that was written in early 2020: I intend to listen to and use Toonami OST to inspire my character and action writing in my novels. Yes, as a preview of what to expect from Sailor O, you see Orcus has developed a ‘two-face’ personality with the real Christina fighting to regain control. Yep, I used ‘pyrrhic’ in context to further emphasize the ‘hollow’ victory for the heroes. The chapter’s mood is very downbeat and somber, but not all depressing. Of course, the Tamers have the last scene, because YYGDM’s first scenes featured Takato, Henry, and Rika respectively. It’s just right.)
Can't believe it's been too long since YYGDM is one of the first major fanfics I read besides the original D-Fusion, though I properly delve into YYGDM during DFKai's time. Overtime, YYGDM becomes too dense, the AU reliances, and other reasons that made it less relevant. We're getting older that fan perspectives changes (such as YYGDM-01 was written before Adventure tri./Last Evolution Kizuna are release) and realize we want to move forward to new futures, alongside we remember some of the people (Haruhi, Lycosyncer (And I do remember he's the one that suggest Cain to appear in YYGDM starting with his debut in the Taiyoukai's Awakening), and Titan Thanos) are no longer around as much as they use too. Rereading this final Gaiden again, alongside it coincides Urban Legends going to be complete this week, relates the connection of creative burnouts and needing a long hiatus.
With only Wrath of the Defiants remaining as the sole series finale, and Zeed X's defeat resulting in the dimension becoming the Apex Dimension, it'll be back to basics with the story become more grounded, and will be realistically serious because it'll focus on humans as the main enemies in how completely different they are unlike past enemies (and even Zeed X), such as using the Humans Are The Real Monsters trope and the nature of mankind's paranoia, bigotry, etc seen in real-life. The Defiants will not only test these superheroes (and especially the Sailor Senshi since their the main ones that have the most connections with Cain), but also plans to show these same heroes of reflecting their nostalgic reputations and questions of moving forward or not. These serious topics of Defiants can also relate to older audiences and even us and contributors of growing up with the YYGDM franchise.
Until the sun rises, when the time comes for Defiants to be release in YYGDM-01, we and the rest (and wonder if old viewers such as Lycosyncer will return to rekindle the old memories) will reunite to give the proper conclusion it deserves, enjoy these coming final moments, and having good terms to each other after Defiants' future completion of reflecting all these memories.

Well said, my friend (though I disagree with you about One Piece being too long). I think this series grew far beyond our expectations of it, to a point where just keeping track of everything going on was a lot of work.
I'm glad it's still getting the send-off it deserves, even if it has to be scaled back from the original plan.

Your stories were great wish I came across them sooner. Some things that go to long are still popular well at least for one piece but don’t write if you don’t enjoy it

I'm still extremely happy you've managed a beautiful crossover for 15 years. That's all I have to say.

Wow, I'm actually surprised that the end has come. I didn't think it would be like this however, in perspective, you have done this for a long period of time.
It is kind of emotional however things do change and you gave a lot of your sweat and tears for this, K.
You did this franchise "astonishing" my friend and the ones who've stood by this will never forget. You have also gained something through this story as well...no I'm not going to get all "feels" in this, so you'll have to figure that part out for yourself :D
You did good, K. You can rest knowing this was a big thing for some of us.
Thanks.

I understand, everyone has thresholds on things that they can do and eventually a breaking point is reached, i'm in the same boat on certain matters, but perhaps that's just something that comes with writing.
This was a good way to wrap up the Gaiden as well as tie into Defiants for when it comes.
As for how Defiants is handled however you handle it is fine.
this was a good wrap up and I hope that the future works you decide to do work out, peace out.

Awesome chapter! I really loved the mini arc.
The fusion stones were used good in this chapter. The fusion of the Amazon-Senshi to their counterparts was also good and now they gain a new power.
Oh oh, Cain is back. This is not good. I can see Hiroaki and cain will give a lot of trouble for the heros,.
No doubt this arc is one of the nest in the gaiden story. I can not wait to see more! :D

Sorry for the delay. The conclusion to this good mini-arc and ends with a surprise of the threat of the Dark Houoh/Hiroaki not ending as this will continue into the Defiants!
The fusion of the Amazon-Senshi to their counterparts was good and brings their transition to an end. Now they have added bonus stats in strength and all that jazz. I laughed over their libido's going into overdrive for the time being and Mina would use that to an advantage; poor Rio-kun, brace yourself, buddy! Michiru being nonchalant about it was good too as she knows the deal in being classy with it. Wow, I kind of forgot Hotaru and Dimitro were a thing, need at least a quick story on those two but at least we know where her future lies.
Let's see how this Clone Conspiracy continues into the new story when it comes out and put to rest as this will have ramifications for Usagi, Rei and the rest for their role in it. I feel some heroes will be separate from this to deal with the fallout of metas and heroes being put on notice.
Good stuff K.

Interesting. Expected Cain Bearer to get suddenly upstaged, but so far he's managed to look like an intimidating arc boss.
Yami Houou really chose a bad host body, but she's working with what she's got so far.
