Well I’m reading this 11 years after it was written, but I would like to review it any way !
I really enjoyed it, I liked how you blended the two stories (F &PB) together, I thought it worked really well.
The idea that the ‘Alliance’ had somehow interfered just like on Miranda and caused the monsters to be what they were was clever :)
I think the pairing of River and Riddick is great, she needed someone to be her equal, both physically and mentally, and Riddick’s that man ;D
I would have liked to read more of this story and find out who the ‘mysterious man’ is. I’ll check if there’s a follow up, but I don’t think there is which is a shame.

So why did you suddenly decide to make river and riddick idiots? You put pointless jealousy plays and keep johns alive longer than necessary, and then riddick leaves him alive?! Never happen. Riddick maybe has some honor and a soft spot for kids, but he would kill johns without hesitation. All because serenity had to save the day? Nah it's a shame but this is another tale that doesn't understand riddick... sadness. Good luck in the future.

Weird. Did you mesh Christianity and Islam together? I read Imam praying, and saying that Jesus is their lord. Interesting to read that.

I know it's been quite a while since you posted but I happened to stumble upon it and it was such a well-written piece that I couldn't leave without commenting. I especially love how in-character everyone is in this story. Your River is a master piece and your portrayal of her and Riddick got me imagining their whole life together outside the fic. And that if nothing else is a sign of brilliant writing. You gained yourself a new fan with this one.
