DUDE, i disapprove you pairing makoto with another man. stick with the plan. hehehe, you could make Neph, jealous a bit... but not so much please. or i will come there from my screen, and tear chase abram to pieces, shred him, and throw him to the gators.
nevertheless, i will only follow for now.

So I actually just found this over on AO3, then popped over to the Pit so I could track it. Loving this story so far. I love the nuances in their behavior and the subtle adjustments that need to be made (on all of their parts; seeing them cope has been fascinating). I'm also loving your characterization, and the names haven't been too bad (it helps when you continue to refer to them by the original names in the text, even if in the dialogue the new names are being used). Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the fic. Hope you continue with it (but I understand life/other fics completely, so hey - that's what e-mail alerts are for C; ).

I am positively heartbroken that this has been dropped. Whether it's just been life, or lack of plot, it makes me so sad, because honestly you've had me on the edge of my seat with this fic.
Have you ever read a fic that was so /right/ that it just fit into the way you think of the series and you find it hard to remember it's not actually part of it? Yeah. That's this fic for me.
Please, please oh please! Would you be so kind as to continue this?

Forgive me if my review lacks any sense XD I claim the late evening and relentless fanaticism for this story as my excuse for my scatter-brained comments CH3 and 4 ^^; Nonetheless, onward with the review!

The previous two chapters definitely bring up many questions. I wonder what they'll find out from Setsuna about Makoto's predicament and I wonder if any of it ties in with Rei's nightmare. Also, the constant struggle she has with her feelings on Jadeite has been the most riveting in my opinion. I have always thought Rei as a very passionate person and well Jadeite seems to just have a natural ability of overwhelming her quite thoroughly. Their relationship and where it stands is so interesting...

Minako and Kunzite's terse relationship is also rather intriguing. I admit to laughing at the bit in the hospital where she was tapping her foot and glaring at him as he spoke with Usagi. lol That part was amusing. I am anxious to see more development between these two since Kunzite is so controlled and hard to read whereas Minako is less stoic but still equally hard to read XD Their characters are just so complex its crazy!

Now, Ami. I am most impressed by how you depict her character. It has been quite a long while since I've read an Ami that is so true to her character and not sporadically stepping out of her box just to fit a scene (which I often do ^^';) Her logical approach is so well described that I've pretty much been fixated on her and what she'll do next. I am seriously the MOST excited about seeing her character development throughout this whole story. As for Zoisite, I feel myself sympathizing for him a lot. I also finally have a much deeper appreciation for him. Prior to now his character kind of put me to sleep, but now that is not the case for which I thank you!

And Makoto. I was so worried when she was struck by lightening and admittedly, I went back and forth countless times between the author's note and the portion introducing Chase because I thought I had mixed up names somewhere along the way only to find that Chase is not Nephrite and is indeed a new character XD lol. But, I am so nervous about his arrival, especially since Makoto has agreed to out for coffee with him. I am never good at reading things involving story lines like he loves her and she loves him but she's unsure and starts to date someone else whom she possibly thinks she likes or even declares she loves etc. etc. Not that this is what is going on since I really can't tell yet but if so then I will be so devastated for Nephrite. The scene where he had visited her and explained his past life motives was such a shocking scene. I really didn't expect him to give that answer and I commend you for your brilliance in dialogue and story-telling. I was especially torn when before that, Makoto had talked to Rei about her thoughts on her old memories and Nephrite.

And lastly, Haruka and Setsuna. Their scene together is probably one of my favorites. The conversation was so deep and I couldn't help but feel so enlightened after reading what they had to say.

Alas, I am finally stalling for words XD This story is amazing, your writing is amazing and I hope you will find time soon to update! Until then, I will be anxiously awaiting more from you!

P.S. The name change has taken a little bit of time to get used to but I think I've got it pretty much covered ^^ But still, the Author's notes help a lot to remind me who's who :D

Wonderful story! I am eager to see what comes next although I'm anticipating some high-stress drama. Anyhow, your writing is so intriguing and I find myself consumed with interest as I read along. So off I go to read the next chapter!
