I love this ending! The original was terrible...It seems that Mrs. Libba Bray was having some romantic troubles during her writing...if you remember, not one of the main characters got to keep the ones they loved. Felicity lost Pippa, Gemma lost Kartik, Ann lost Thomas, Mrs. Nightwing's husband was run down, and Mrs, Mcleethy was murdered, leaving Fowlson alone too. At least Mademoselle Le Farge got to mary her inspector...but only after losing her first love. Too much tragedy makes for a horrible ending. I lovvved this one! It was fabulous. Thankyou for setting the story right.

Jeez cuz, a MUCH better ending than the real one. I'm never forgiving you for making me read the series knowing what a crappy ending it's got...Oh well, your ending is sweet and lovely and exactly what I think should have happened, minus some serious lemon...ade. Lemonade. They would have been thirsty after their journey, no? :P

The ending of "The Sweet Far Thing" was very sad but I love it. I think I would have loved for Gemma and Kartik to be together but the original ending seemed fitting to me. I like to think that eventually they will be together.

I think you should write a second part to this story. And I do Wish To say a few things.
1. I cried when I finished ASFT
2. I love the part where Mrs. Nightwing says "Yes he is a man, and yes he is good looking"
3. Iwish this was how it ended only with more descriptional (Not the way you spell it, if it's even a word) parts, like the begining.

YES! This is how The Sweet Far Thing SHOULD Have ended. I stayed up so late finishing it and I was very upset when they didn't end up together. I mean, come on, he turned into a tree! THIS is how I imagine the end would be, and now that you've written it, and very well I might add, I can actually read it and pretend it is the end. Awesome job. :)
