Oh, thank you so much for filling in that gap-I really needed to see what happened, and your take on it fits perfectly! Mark's distraction is so very real, and Milt's concern for it is so in character. Thanks so much for sharing!

It is an episode that keeps repeating, the nuances calling to you. I liked this more indepth look at this one scene.

I like that you chose to expand on this scene. It sounds just like Hardcastle, to focus on the effects instead of the predictions themselves. Nice story.

I like the idea of the self-fulfilling prophecy, and Hardcastle's main concern being not with the predictions themselves (which wouldn't be the sort of poppycock he'd buy into) but with the effect that those predictions might have on Mark's concentration. It comes across much better than H merely brushing off Mark's worries as nonsense, the way he seems to in the episode.

Mark always gets ideas runing around in is head as it is to drive Milt crazy. He really doesnt need to have him get started on crazy thoughts from anyone else.

Milt and Mark are very good friends and they do taking care and look after each other.

This was a story I enjoyed reading.

Keep on writing.I look forward to more from you

I liked this...interesting choice of scene to elaborate on. Most people (me included) go straight for the scene at the bottom of the hill. Nice dialouge and again, a nice filling in of a few blanks from what might be the best episode of the series
