You know, I kept bypassing this fic because I'm not usually a fan of the leading lady becoming pregnant right off the hop. But... WOW. Am I ever glad that I finally read this. Amazing. Incredibly well done.

I've never actually read the handmaid's tale, but i've heard a lot about it, so I know the basic plot- oh, but knowing and reading something along those lines is completely different. I wanted to cry and hide in a corner and violently emasculate any man that I met all at once.
But they're there now, the way they're meant to be. Van, Hitomi, Aki, and her son.
