super well-done. totally angsty and deep, but still totally in character.

i read tons of gibbs-din fics, and it's rare to find one that doesn't cross the line into schmaltz. gibbs is capable of a lot of deep, even paternal feelings for his agents, but i don't think even under life and death situations would he be able to manage goo, especially verbal goo! he would hide his concern under impatience or anger, or just plain show it.

a new cell phone during SWAK, a chuck under the chin or an 'atta boy- maybe even a chocolate chip cookie from all the way across town.

Hi just wanted to point out in the last line of chp 5 you have a word sbpiy I think it is suppose to be 'about' thought you might want to know...
