I also had this idea while typing chapter 7 of trails of the hanyo brothers...
I thought that they could slip it off on the night of the new moon... makes sense...

This is so. incredibly. fabulous.
I love the look at InuYasha here - it's not surprising that he would be more expressive (If only to himself *grin*) on the night of the new moon.
So many people judge Kagome as horrible or evil for the use of the rosary when in TRUE canon fashion (ie: manga) she grows out of is for the most part as the story progresses. I can easily see how he can see it as more of a security for her than him - after all, he tried to kill her in the beginning!
This was great - and the ending made me all warm and fuzzy inside.
Keep up the fabulous work!

Oh, this is fabulous! I love it! So many people write about how evil it is of Kagome to use the beads to subdue him and how much he hates them, but I have always thought he should be grateful for them, too. I know it never says it outright in the manga, but I believe the beads and the connection they give him to Kagome are the reason he is able to travel through the well to her time.
I am absolutely loving the idea that he also realizes the beads give Kagome a sense of security so she CAN trust him. After all, he DID attack her and try to kill her when they first met and she has been in danger from him when he has been transformed into a full youkai. I think you really have comer up with a good reason for him not being so resentful of them. It makes perfect sense.
It also makes perfect sense that he would be able to remove them on the nights he is human. Kudos to you for thinking of that!

That was super cute! I always wondered if the beads worked on the night of the new moon, they never have her try it on those nights. hm, I wonder if he can take them off on new moons ;)

I really enjoyed this. It was short enough that my mind didn't wander, and for the first time a slightly-out-of-character fanfiction was believable. *Laughs*. I mean, I can't see Inuyasha ever acting like this, but at the same time it makes so much sense and I can totally believe that he might. It works. Well written.

Beautiful. Flawless. Perfectly amazing. I have never seen such a heart felt one-shot. You were able to bring out Inuyasha's true nature. That is a true gift, especially with a jerk like him. lol. Great idea with the beads. I have never come across that idea, nor have thought about it myself. Definitely one of my fav stories. Keep up the writing. You have a real talent for it. =b
