This is heartwarming. I love it purely on the basis of the ideal of friendship. It breaks my heart think of the loss of a friendship, especially when I can think of it idealistically rather than realistically. You have written the perfect idealistic friendship, loss of friendship, and reunion of friendship. I love it. Throwing in a touch of romance was just a bonus there. lol.

I really really liked this story. And that's saying something because I don't usually go for one-shots. But really, I thought the way you showed time going forward was just awesome! It was a wonderfully realistic portrait of growing up together. Great Work!
