Stayce! This chapter was so awesome! I loved it. I loved the Helen Plum/Stephanie interaction. The end of the chapter was great. I'm a little nervous that Steph is still going to turn herself in for murder, but so far so good! By the way, isn't Steph going to be pissed that she's the payment? Anyway, awesome and can't wait for the next bit!

I can't believe that you are stopping there and we have to wait another 2 weeks before we find out what Joe is going to do! This sucks! I am glad that Stephanie is listening in though. The only problem I see with this is that if Ranger provides an alibi for Joe will the attention focus back on Steph? Please do another chapter soon! I hate waiting, damn cliffhangers!

Wow, babe. Amazing chapter. Yes, I think Joe will take the deal. His first priority is to get his @ss out of the fire. I also think he's cocky enough to think that Steph would come back to him eventually, like she always does. I think Steph would love to tell them both to F-off right now but I think her curiosity might get the better of her and she might just play along...can't let the boys know she's eavesdropped...or can she? Hm. I have NO idea what the heck Ranger is thinking. I'm sure that deep down this isn't just a completely mercenary move on his part but right now it's hard to see past his blank face. He was so cold/hot/cold with her in Miami but at Joe's house he seemed enraged that Joe could use the woman he loves to do his own dirty work. BTW, loved the whole scene with her mom/pod person. Hilarious! So glad you posted and I can't wait until you post again.

This just keeps getting better and better!
For a minute there I thought there was hope for HELLen, but should have known that anything she does is self serving. I did enjoy them sharing a snort, very funny.
Now that Steph knows Morelli's been using her, things should get interesting, but Ranger's no better asking for Stephanie as "payment". I just hope he gets to explain himself before Steph flies into a rage. Morelli will probably take the deal because he seems to be interested in only saving his own ass at any cost.

Excellent Chapter Babe! Yes I think Joe will take Ranger upon the deal he may huff and puff but until Ranger maybe pulls ace from his sleeve like maybe he knows Joe cheated and maybe Rangerwillpoint out that's why he's not good enough for Steph.
I think Steph will get mad at first but she won't give herself away I think she'll keep listening to the exchange between the two men maybe Ranger will admit to Joe that he loves Steph and she'll get the warm and fuzzies (because she loves him too)then she'll get angry again plan a way to teach both of them a lesson. Maybe?
