I was entranced with this story and read it in 2 days. OMG what mind can come up with all that and stay true to the characters. I realize you published this a long time ago and left a cliff hanger. I know it has been two years but I would love to see this finished. Mind you, I as Steph would still have major trust issues with Ranger and nnot be quite so willing to bounce right back into bed with him as if everything were normal. I took a year long trust issue break with my first husband and in the end the betrayal and trust did destroy us and though after close to 30 years and a real love with my husband I still deeply love my ex I could never 'get over' him and still dream of him and get that neck burn when we do get near each other. Trust is independant of love. Love is a hard wiring emotion.
