Have you crossed over to the frosted side? You are making me really like Joe to the point that I don't want to see him hurt! Stop it:)! I was suprised that Joe didn't mention Ranger when he was telling Steph why their relationship had never worked. I like you being nice to Joe, but I really missed Ranger in this chapter:). This chapter had a totally different feel than the other 2. I can't wait to see where you go with it now that he is back! Keep going!

As usual, great chapter.
I loved this line: “You should have seen the expression on his face. Okay, so maybe you wouldn’t have been able to see the difference, but I knew Ranger and let me tell you … he was shocked!” Just too funny.
My favorite bit was: “The Merry Men duded me up in their riot gear, helmet, body armor, jack boots …. They took one look at me and laughed so hard they almost pissed themselves.” I can just visualize her in SWAT gear. OMG.
Cal as partner was hysterical; especially the Ronnie Klineman pick up. This bit just cracked me up: “Run! She’ll put us back in rehab.”
“I was afraid that ‘feed the ducks’ was a euphemism.” Another great line.
Your Bob is just so sweet. Aw!

And if I didn't know you so well, I'd be worried that you've been taken to the dark side ;) But I have faith in you and your writing, so bring on the next chappie.
