Another good chapter. This is a tough one. Does Steph want a real relationship or just a fuck buddy? Things that make you go hhm. Since I have more a Ranger preference, I'm a little biased in my feelings. But as usual, you are a very talented writer and I'm sure you'll come up with the best way to go. It seems like this time around, Joe and Steph have the relationship they can both be happy with. So, hm...I dunno, You can't expect a Babcake to answer this one :)

Stayce, absolutely wonderful. I hope you update soon. I personally don't think Steph should really do anything drastic (a little bit of anger), but I think she should stay on at RangeMan and maybe have a relationship with either someone in RangeMan or a new guy... but only if Ranger is gone for a while. I don't know, but the other two stories I've read are fantastic, and I'm sure what you have planned will be excellent.

Great story and I can't wait to see what comes next.
I just feel so sorry for Steph & Ranger ...They both have these committment & communication issues.
Steph shouldn't be mad, maybe just a little hurt, cause let's face it Ranger had to know he was gonna be gettin gone and he didn't even tell her.
Steph needs to really figure out if she can handle what Ranger if offering? But then again, what is offered needs to be clarified?
Now, if I was Steph, I would stay working at Rangeman for a few reason,
1) to be best friends to all the merry men and piss Ranger off...after all she is suppose to be HIS, and if she was to be buddy buddy with his men, and flirt with them Ranger might just lose it.
2) she needs to understand or come to the realization that she does to Ranger what he does to her...Ranger is obviously overly attracted to her. So she use her employment @ Rangeman to further torture or torment him and get him even more frustrated then even before...professionally and sexually. Maybe push him into opening up some.
3) the final reason was, who could give up Ella's snacks?
4) oh and having a paycheck also helps too.

Stayce, I'm so excited you've started a new story! OMG you crack me up. Wins by a rose. Pilot error. I called him Sam!I'm laughing out loud and my kids think I'm nuts. Can't wait to see how you tie Abruzzi into this. And yeah, I think Steph should get a guy who can treat her right, not love her and leave her. Why didn't the dumbass tell her he was leaving? LOL He was honest with her about not offering more, why not let her know? I think he's either a complete idiot or just being manipulative. Of course she probably should quit RangeMan, get a boyfriend etc, but she's not going to right? LOL She can't have a Ranger HEA if she does that. :-)

Well of course she's going to have to learn to cook... because I'm sure she is now pregnant with his triplets. And she can't be to awful mad... she invited him in with eyes and arms wide open.

You did it again Stayce! That chapter was a roller coaster of emotions. You gave us humor,frustration,joy,ecstasy and then(of course) angst.
Hell yes she should be angry with him, but quit RangeMan, find a boyfriend or (God forbid) learn to cook...no way! It always makes for a good story with a pissed off Steph and a clueless Ranger.
