Oh - this chapter rocked! I LMAO at the embarrassing moments and once again, you gave Tank the best lines - I was on the floor over the "checking for drool." The knowing the MM by their body parts was just brilliant and so visual.

But, but... where did he go? And I think he's carrying the mysterioso thing a bit too far - why didn't he tell her he was leaving? Hm - this is going to drive me crazy thinking about it - and you know how I get when I get crazy!

snort - "wins by a rose". =) When you described how Ranger was acting different to Steph since coming to work, my heart just clench. Absolutely LOL about the puddle of drool. Your abilities with writing never cease to amaze me. Oh, man, was that just hilarious. that has to go into my classics list. =) And pilot malfunction? You are good.

The whole scene in Ranger's bathroom, his reaction, and then the next morning her earring and the "women's locker room" - why did that make my heart hurt? Then when he comes to play pool, asks her if they're okay. Me? I would have asked him what happened to flirty Ranger =) And then his comment about not leaving till after breakfast and actually staying for two breakfast I had a huge smile on my face. Tank behind Ranger's desk - groan.

Love this chapter - can't wait for the next one. And you're right, Ranger warned her. Should she be angry? Yes - at him for leaving without even saying he'd be gone and for herself of just asking to define... define something. Quit Rangeman? no. But what should she do while Ranger is gone? Well my ideas would never match yours. I'm just trusting you that no matter how wild the ride, I always end with a HEA - I'm trusting you on that no matter the ride. =)

GR! Stayce! *whines* I thought this was going to be a happy story! I feel angst in my future. You know how well I deal with angst. When I can't sleep at 3am because you're giving me nightmares I'm going to call you!

What a wonderful chapter, Stayce! I loved the line about Steph being able to identify the MM by their muscles. Nice touch. Well, Ranger seems to have done it again. But did he know that he had to go in the wind? If so, his actions seem a little callous, almost like a quick roll in the hay to tide him over whilst he is on business. But he is a mercenary after all, Steph has always known that he is an oppertunist.

What should she do? Carry on and move on. No use dwelling on the past - maybe a little dating. You have to wonder just how Ranger would react if he came back to find her in a relationship with one of the MM. Unless she is willing to wait for whatever scraps Ranger is going to throw her way, I'd suggest she finds a replacement for Sam, even if it is on a casual basis.

Nice work, as always, honey! Looking forward to more.

Oh boy! That was just a corker. The running machine thing is why I go to a girl's only gym.

Now if it was me, I would make like the wind and break. She should not be there when he gets back. She needs to chalk it up to a good weekend, salvage some pride and get herself a life. (feelings aside)

Wonderful smut, and I loved your images, too - "...Estrogen Island in the middle of a Testosterone Sea.." LOL! And Steph's accidents from oggling the guys...!

I don't think Steph should be angry at Ranger - he did warn her and ask her if she was sure - and once she calms down from the shock of him being gone I think she'll remember that.

Maybe Ranger will make it up to her when he gets back. :)
