I liked the way you blended elements from the '04 movie (Raoul's description comes to mind, as well as the manner and place of Buquet's death) with those from Leroux. You did a very good job of capturing Leroux's Erik, which is probably my favorite version. After all, he is the original!
Overall, you have presented us readers with a well-written piece - there are no typos or spelling errors glaring out at me. Thank you for taking the time not just to write a nice one-shot, but for doing it well.
