I thought it was really written well, wand I'm practically in years. So sweet. I do, however, think it could improve in terms of timing. I have no idea how old they were, or what was wrong with George. Just a little more substance, and it would be perfect. But again, written beautifully. Great job.

Interesting, I suppose you are going to do Remus Lupin next, or have you already done him

Wow, you really know how to break hearts, don't you? This was extremely touching, and very overwhelming too. It is always weird for me to imagine the trio and the others in their oldage but once I get into it, it feels normal. I loved how you wrote Harry here. How he was welcoming death like an old friend. His talks with his children, I loved what he tells Albus, and Albus' reply, "Always." Definitely lived up to Severus. And his relationship with Ginny, her description of her husband as her hero and everything - just aw :D
It was well-written, touching, and a good read!

Aww, I really liked Harry and Ginny here. They were really well developed! The story was sad but good.

WHY. OH MY GOD.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCKKKKKK.
:'( MY FEELS ARE PERMANENTLY BROKEN.
*sobs her heart out*
This was just so beautiful! :'(
The farewells with his kids. The last part with Ginny. And that last line. Oh god, my chest hurts so much right now.

This was really incredible and touching. It made really sad, and for some strange reason it also reminded me of the storm scene at the "Click" film. It's very rare to find such scenes in fanfiction, I think I have only read like four stories so far with a Harry that is actually an old man.

Your characterization of Harry and Ginny here was excellent. You managed to take their personalities and change them just enough to show that they've grown and matured, but that they still retain the same characterization that JKR gave them. Even though I'm not really a fan of HarryGinny stories, I think you wrote their relationship so well, really showcasing the love between them. SPaG was great, just a few small typos like 'she possess' instead of 'she possesses'. My one real criticism is that eighty years old is decidedly not old in the Wizarding world. Dumbledore, Aberforth, Grindelwald, Elphias Doge, Muriel Weasley, Griselda Marchbanks - they all lived well into their hundreds, and this seems to be the norm rather than the exception. Other than that, though, this was an excellent story, very sad and sweet, and you did a wonderful job writing about the Boy Who Lived dying.

I'm admittedly not a huge fan of Harry/Ginny, but I thought this was a very touching story. It was well written and heartfelt - both of which I can definitely appreciate in this type of story.
/To Ginny, Harry is a hero precisely because he's not a hero./
I love this line, even though I do not ship this pairing, because I think it sums up how Ginny would have felt about him no matter what. I think it's perfect for her.
Good job!

I'm not actually sure what to make of a story where Harry Potter actually dies and stays dead. Then again, I don't often see many stories of Harry as an old man. You've written a very good tale, although one point does bother me: Ginny being an old witch at over 80. Perhaps in this world, magic does not expand the lifespan as per usual, but other than that minor detail, I liked this a lot.

Not fair not fair not FAIR. I'm not a massive HG fan...though things like this - that is, perfect things - have a way of making me ship it so hard. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I cried almost immediately.
All's goodbye...fuck, I think you broke me. Fuck. And the HarryGinny at the end was beautiful. So much, they've been through, for so, so long. Gah.
Thank you for writing this; it's the ending Harry deserves.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME. I just kind of burst into tears and I'm not even that much of a fan of this pairing.
But... oh god. This was just absolutely heartbreakingly fantastically sad and wonderful and beautiful all at once. Just your writing style is lovely to begin with, and the way you portrayed this... I breathed in every word of this. It was so lovely, especially the HarryGinny moments. They were so beautiful, and you kind of made me appreciate them just a little bit more. Gah.
I have nothing else to say to this. It was just perfect. *Sniff*
Well done.
