Holy shit! Excuse my language but sometimes it's necessary and this is one of those times. That was amazing!

Painfully sharp and a good look at why Petunia was so twisted. Keep updating

Oh, poor Minerva :( It's so sad, how much she's lost in love... I loved how you used the mirror to show how she'd changed throughout her years, from Macgregor to Elphinstone to a final hope for peace. And again, that final paragraph was really something—you really broke my heart. Well done!

I loved this. It provided so much insight into McGonagall, a character that we don't get to see much of at all during the series, unless she's getting Harry into trouble or whatever. I love how you've given her a life outside hogwarts and delved so deep into her emotions. It really connects the reader to the story and draws them in. I also love how her most desperate desires change over time. I really liked that. Great job!

Ooh, I love this! It's so unique.
To be honest I've never read about Minerva before, so this was very enjoyable. I love the back story that she has in this too. It really does make her what she is in the canon series. Tough but with a big heart, really.
I couldn't find any mistakes so well done on that!
Overall, a really nice story!

Oh my gosh! You wrote about my favorite thing that was provided on pottermore! The tragic story of Dougal and McGonagall really tore at my heart when I read it on pottermore, and I think you depicted what Minerva would most likely have seen in the mirror of erised perfectly. Thank you for this! That really made my day!

I'd read a bit about McGonagall on Pottermore and her two-so husbands, but you brought a brilliant light to it and the narrative style was somehow still very personal and touching. I love the idea of Minerva looking into the Mirror of Erised and seeing different men at different points in her life; it's a very powerful, if not a bit sad. You highlighted that grief exceptionally well in few words, and overall it was quite fantastically written.

Oh my gosh, honestly, this was so beautiful! Oh my, I can’t even help the tears!
Minerva is one of my favorite characters, and this was truly beautiful. I can’t even formulate words right now. The way you formulated her past with the Mirror was just so perfectly. Honestly, this was so good.

I really really loved this!
It was a wonderful study of Minerva's life through the mirror and what she saw in it at different ages. I loved how you talked of her loves and her past.
It was a truly brilliant story, and I really loved it, you captured Minerva beautifully throughout, and I have no criticisms at all. There were no mistakes. A flawless story!
