I liked this chapter very much and the previous ones as well. Poor Victoire shares a birthday with a sad anniversary like kids born on September 11th. That's a heavy burden for any child. But it's also the day her family lost someone dear. Double whammy! Nicely thought and written.

Okay, I have to admit, I was not a fan of this chapter. Or Rose's. I love pretty much every other one I've read so far, but not those two. And it's not for grammatical reasons, or bad writing (although, I will admit, most of Scorpius's chapter is a massive wall of text that could do with some breaking down). I just have this huge hatred for the Rose/Scorpius pairing. Hate, hate, HATE it. I don't know why, I just do.
Everything else is good, and I certainly don't expect you to fix your story to my shipping preferences. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Excellent, very well written, and such an interesting idea too. I espeicially like how you have started with a lesser character, it will be interesting to see what other people will see in the mirror.

Laura, this is like proper poetry. Just everything about this is beautiful: the structure, the way the language flows, the beautiful imagery. She's wonderful. This is wonderful. You are wonderful.

"Well your family has been screwed up for a long time to be fair." Remus said as he put an hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah and she really loved the noseless wonder." Sirus continued.
"Which is probably why the two are so well matched. They're both murderous psychos." Yellow added. "It really hits the spot this."
"I agree. It's not ooc, because my dear;" Sirus said the word dear with disgust; "cousin is crazy enough to fit."

"Hogwart's was always a refuge for me." Harry said morosely as he read the story.
"It's a shame it wasn't for her." Hermione added sadly. "And in your case it helped being famous and Quidditch."
"It was more the friends that I had." Harry replied smiling at her and Ron. "That really made all the difference."
"Maybe Snape would've turned out better if she had as well." Ron suggested. "Anyway, it's good to see this writer writing again, with her usual insight and skill. Keep updating"
