I don’t know if you will ever see this because it was written ten years ago, but I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved this story! My favorite fic ever!

I loved this story. I especially loved Fim! Dean willingly selling Baby, Sam missing her. Dean being the best big brother ever! Please tell me if there is a sequel! If not please make one!

P.s. love Fim... Love the build of the story. Real panic when I thought Sam was going to die .so glad to see this bond. Though there was a couple places that reminded me of the finale.. So poignant and beautiful. Thank you

Oh my gosh... I have sat and tried to read this from start to finish all day yesterday and finished it up in the wee hours of the, morning but was too tired to write a cohesive review. You had me hooked in nanoseconds and my boys just broke me. Dean selling the impala... Sam missing it because its home just like dean is. Dean being hands on and awesome at building things is great. I love it. His freaking at and punching Doctors who, have given up on Sam..I loved the trips to the park and the supernatural entity that was causing problems. I love dean wanting to take care of his brother. Sam struggling with his pain and wanting it all to end... So in depth and so very heartbreaking and real.,thank you for the story. And I noticed you had said it was very personal to you and life had other m thrown at you... I am hoping you are still well and I am hoping that you know how each chapter was well constructed and now loved. Brilliant. Completely and utterly captivating. I loved Deans panic attacks and your original vharacters are just wonderful. I can't even begin to imagine how much time you have in this story but thank you. So much from the bottom of my heart. Have an awesome day

I love this story. Fim, the flashbacks to their childhoods, all the emotions, the original characters, everything. I especially enjoyed that you treated both boys with love. It is great that this story is still out there over 7 years after you finished it and I am happy that I chanced upon it.

Wow. This was incredible. Well-written, touching, and realistic to an almost painful extent (and that’s not bad, that’s amazing). As someone who also suffers from a chronic pain condition and depression, this really struck home. Thank you for putting this struggle into words, and showing that it’s possible to overcome overwhelming odds. This was really uplifting.
I wish you the best in your journey.

That was such a beautiful story. I usually stick with more action packed stories but I loved seeing this domestic hurt/comfort side of the boys. I hope you are doing well in your own health journey. You have such a "gift" of your own with your writing!

Beautiful! I had intended to leave feedback on the end of each chapter, but I couldn't stop reading long enough! I had to know what came next after each installment. I'm not really a fan of hurt!Sam, but this is an exception-I really enjoyed going on this journey with the boys even though it was painful at many points.
I really loved how Dean kept working so hard to make things better for Sam and the way he tried to keep Sam's hope alive. I felt like they were both drowning at some point. I ached with Dean when he finally began to fold under the strain and I cheered when Sam surprised him with the Impala.
This was really well done, such a slow, sweet story. I look forward to any additions you make to this story. Thanks for writing it even though it must've been as hard at times as therapeutic.

Hi, I've just finished reading this story for the umpteenth time and I am just as touched and moved as I was the first time. (BTW, I'm the person who you were communicating with on LJ about "The Wounded Don't Cry" and finding your other works.) I would love it so much if you re-visited this verse, I'd be thrilled to see how Sam and Dean are continuing their journey. Thanks for your work.
