Great story, thanks for writing.
It works well as a stand alone, but has potential for more.

This was quite the realistic insight into the mind of a young boy. Also, I felt Snape's advice was appropriate. On another note, as an Irish person, I appreciated the Gaelic references :)

Pity you aren't going to continue... I've just read Great Expectations, and I loved it so much. Anyway, I'm glad you decided to write this, even if it's a oneshot. :)

Cool story! I loved your story Great Expectations, and this story fills in the blanks of the aftermath of that story line. I always rather thought Fred and George would have Monkey patronuses, but now that I think of it, a squirrel is fitting as well. Now I'm intrigued... What house do you think Albus Severus is best suited for?

I love how Albus gets to see all the Patronuses of his "dream friends", but I was wondering something: Is the reason Albus didn't have the dreams for a while because he didn't really want them? And then as soon as he did want them, he saw them again? If this is the case, I hope Albus goes back to wanting to play with his "dream friends".
Just keep writing, just keep writing, just keep writing, writing, writing... Please!

i really like this, though it seems more like it could be a longer story, rather than a one-shot...
i also like the idea of Rose leading Al astray ;)

Ooo yay I liked it, I wish it was a longer sequel though! I hope you write more! I loved Great Expectations so much, and this is just like another wee bit of the story.

A squirrel Patronus for Fred? That is so totally, perfectly right. :) Excellent story, I really enjoyed it. What I like the most was the pseudo-dream quality-sort of stumbling one's way into a deeper level of the world. It felt rather Tolkien or Lewis-esque (if you've ever read The Magician's Nephew, this story made me think a little of the Wood Between the Worlds). Beautifully done! I hope we'll get to see some more from you someday.

Oh, Severus, you break my heart. All the wrong choices. Would the right choices have been so hard? *sigh*
Rose is a force of nature, isn't she? I often felt sorry for Ron and Harry with Hermione bossing them around and now poor Al is in the same boat. LOL.
So, the squirrel Patronus is Fred (perfect), the big and small (clumsy) wolf, Remus and Tonks. There was Padfoot and Lily and James, and the bright bird was DD. Albus Severus will never be alone, no matter how dark his hour becomes, I feel. Even Severus is in the wings. I wish that he was with the others, though... he is sorey in need of bright company.
I love Al. He is an weary sole (already) in a young body, isn't he. A truly lovely boy who, if you ever expand on this, will steal my heart just like his father did.
Now I really have finished your stories. *sob*
