You know what's annoying? I sent a review for chapter 9. TWICE. And my computer STILL screwed up. It's actually just gotten back from the repair shop, so I shouldn't have any more problems. But I do apologise. I read an enjoyed chapter 9, and my review musn't have sent. I realised this when I got to the bottom of the page and saw no review reply from you.
... I really hate Dain right now. But it goes with my theory that he's an obsessive, EXTREMELY over-protective lover. He just can't do anything about the Shadow Lord, but anyone else would be dead for touching Lief.
Poor, poor Lief. :( I can't imagine being torn like that. Between people I love. And knowing that my lover has betrayed me! He should give Dain a piece of his mind. Freaking Ols...
“It seems,” he said to the world as he left, “That I cannot do anything without betraying someone.” That was a striking finish. An excellent conclusion to a chapter, as it both sums up and leaves us in suspense.

And no you never told me you love my penname. And just to let you know Kuro is pronounced like Koo-row and it means Black. Shiro is pronounced SHEER-oh and means White. Ai is pronounced eye and means love

Another great chapter Golmere. See, Dain is evil =P Lying son of a... anyway XD He probably isn't. I doubt you'd try so hard to promote Dain/Lief only for Dain to be lying about it. I dunno, maybe that was your point... oh dear, I'm off on a ramble again...
Anyway, don't beat yourself up about the long wait between chapters. I'm certainly not one for updating every day XD
Oh and as for what else is being hidden from Lief - obviously his friends are NOT dead. If you've killed off Barda I will hunt you down and turn you into a newt.

Rub in the fact that you're a sensitive guy? That's a GOOD thing! Sensitive guys are few and far between. Most guys are total bricks when it comes to anything emotional. So good on you! :D

Another great chapter Golmere! Curious about Lief's powers, and what they'll do to help him against the Shadow Lord. I have no idea if it was meant to be like that, but the whole "reveal" thing he did was very much like the Topaz clearing his mind. If that was what you were going for, well done, but if not... it's still good XD

Here is the foolish Lapis, writing a review again, because she didn't send it the first time. :P Technology hates me. XD
I love the way you keep using the phrase blue, blue eyes. It's very effective! It... I don't even know how to properly describe it. :P All I can say is that it's very striking, and an effective writing device.
And... Lief got Monty back! :D Mayeb a strange thing to comment on... But I know hopw precious my childhood toys are to me, even know. My teddy in particular.
Heheheh, the implied sex. XD Very tastefully written! My sister helps me with anything vaguely intimate as well, even though I'm a girl. She's older. XD But it was certainly a nice touch!
The change in Lief was absolutely fascinating. From defiant, to, as you said, a puppy awaiting its master. He's utterly helpless, but then there are the moments when he can think clearly. And the scene with the SL in particular... Woah. It showed how utterly powerless he was against it all.
I feel so bad for Lief. :( But he's so strong! He accepted what he had to do, and went through with it.

Wow! I'm speechless. I mean its so good. The way you write is very good. And yes torturing Lief is fun. And Dain was so sweet. I like that side of him and the fact that him and Lief are in a better relationship. ^-^ Cant wait for the next chapter! Keep up the Awesome work!
