Great chapter Golmere! The last scene didn't need to be too graphic at all, it was just right for the mood of the whole chapter. Besides, we all have imaginations, right :P
Hah, like Dain/Lief could compare with Jarda :P It's the ultimate! XD Nothing can compare!... Ahem, anyway...

Another great chapter, Golmere! A sad ending indeed, but I'm sure things will pick up in time, right? :D
Of course it didn't disappoint! Why would it? Can't wait for the next installment!
As for the story of The Four Sisters, I bought the Tales of Deltora book which has lots of stories that include the Shadow Lord, or the sorcerer that he was back then. In every one it calls him a man, so I'm assuming that's what he used to be, and his followers were all murderers, rogues and bandits to begin with, but he took control of their minds so they could never leave him. It wouldn't surprise me if they were experimented on to create the first Grey Guards (called Greers). Wow this is becoming quite a long review XD I'll stop rambling on now XD

I Like the Idea of The shadow lord being a Woman too. If I remeber rightly, (it's been so long since i read the first series anyway) That it never acctualy mentions The ShadowLords Sex dose it? So you may be wright!

Another brilliant chapter! One thing I have noticed though, you've spelt Lief's name wrong :) Don't worry, I did that at first XD It's quite an easy mistake to make.
I'm glad that you made the Shadow Lord a woman, it makes things interesting. Although I think the Shadow Lord is more of a force now, his/its body long gone (think similar to Gorl in Forest of Silence) and he/it just takes on whatever form he/it likes.
