I never understood that plot hole about Hizashi falling on the sword when the cloud village kidnapped little Hinata. it's the same thing they did years earlier to Kushina. Konoha should've burned years before with that level of ineptitude. fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

yeah. the canon events of most story arcs did not compute. how could Konoha be so lacking in actionable intelligence during nearly every chapter ? more of that military town should be in espionage corps. it was obvious that the village had traitorous murderers mixed in amongst them from the start of the manga.
