How did the "suna nin get away with garaa"? In CANON it was because the Uchiha was nearly out of chakra, beaten up and clear across the stadium... In THIS ONE... Naruto was NOT beaten up, still has plenty of power and oh yeah, had a glowing rope wrapped around garaa and ATTACHED TO HIS HAND! That last bit is just completely a head scratcher as it SHOULD make this IMPOSSIBLE...
If the third was worried about looking weak and having a real war with Iwa... Why didn't he just STOP the invasion before it started? He KNEW when and where it was going to take place and you can't hide TWO ARMIES very easily... They would have been kinda simple to spot and take out.. Also haven't they caught that "spy" in the barrier squad yet? How does ONE "spy" let an ARMY through? One person? Maybe... But AN ARMY? That's kinda ridicules.. There would kinda only be ONE person that could order even a group to do that in ANY squad, which would be ALL the proof you need, even IRL.
Not to nitpick... But Naruto is "jumping from branch to branch following his summon"?... Um, he just jumped on her back when the chase started.. So shouldn't he be RIDING on her? I don't really get it, if she's supposed to be SO FAST (as was said when she was summoned) why would he just be tailing her? It's speed that they need, so he would be ON her.

Okay, lots of stuff to be confused about in this one.. But I'll keep silent about those, I will give you props for the Uchiha's fight.. I really, REALLY like this idea... Of the uchiha fighting Lee and getting pwned... It really is a GOOD idea... And no, I haven't seen that one done... So gratz... It should be done more.

If naruto has Kido, PLUS Hado AND kurama (from Yu Yu Hakisho) powers.. Then is the rasengan REALLY that powerful now? It's a big blue beach ball that's stuck to your hand! Just doesn't seem that potent next to a whole SLEW of techniques actually CALLED "the demon way of destruction" (Hado) It just doesn't seem that Interesting a technique, when you compare it to some of the other Naruto apparently has in this one! Even it's upgrades are essentially "make the ball bigger", or "make more balls at once"... Neither idea are very "ground breaking". Kinda childish really. Just doesn't make a lot of sense.. Naruto has ALL these powers WE DON'T SEE.. But he's like badgering the ONE technique that honestly isn't very interesting(or useful)... (and been seen LOADS)
Also why couldn't he summon kitsunes before? I know you said something about them all being thirsty vixens, but is there really THAT much of a difference between how Naruto handles them NOW and just a few WEEKS ago? Doesn't seem like he would be THAT changed.. So what's the big difference that's there now, that wasn't there before? Naruto has really only ever spent ANY amount of time with JUST Ino. He really hasn't had time to do much else, you keep having him train diligently in techniques/powers he never uses. (even in REAL fights) Even in the guren fight.. It was: punch, slice, get ass kicked.. CALL ON KYUUBI... blast out chakra, slice...Fight over. (that was kinda standard to what it always was before too.. You don't like all the power ups in canon focusing on kyuubi... BUT here it's just "get pwned" until calling on kyuubi as well...) Not to sure WHY, considering all the powers and all the energies Naruto CAN call on in this one. Heck just "in universe" you have 3 elemental affinities, unlimited chakra AND the shadow clone learning method.. Right there ALONE, he should be a jounin...

The thing with Kabuto that has never made sense is all authors seem to think his cover story MAKES ANY SENSE AT ALL... Yes, he's been through the exams before... I get that... Even here you say "Logically speaking for you to know this much means you've taken part more than once"... But that doesn't hold water... It doesn't MATTER how many times he's taken the exams... He still shouldn't A) have ANY information on people that have NOT taken the exam before. B) REALLY shouldn't have any info on people that have never taken the exam in konoha that ARE NOT FROM THE VILLAGE! No matter how many times he's taken the exams, he wouldn't KNOW who to look for, let alone have ANY WAY to access info that's above gennin! Kabuto is just a REALLY BAD spy! It doesn't really matter if he's been through the exams 1 or 100 times, his "info cards" just don't really "fit" with a gennin. (most of the time, they are utterly IMPOSSIBLE)... You'd THINK that this should "set off alarm bells" in the heads of at LEAST: Shikamaru, Shino, Sakura and a SMART Naruto... Let alone all the shinobi that are supposed to be "watching" these things. But it always seems "hand waved away" because he's been in the exams before.

"Your father asked that I see to your protection" It's lines like this, that truly confuse me... Given what naruto already stated has happened to him in the past.. I'm not really sure why Tsume would ADMIT this, with how BADLY she and her clan have FAILED in that regard... You have her saying this, like some proud declaration.. But that doesn't MESH with what's already been stated about naruto's past... It SHOULD be a very horrific failure of both her and her clan that she wouldn't even WANT to THINK ABOUT, let alone admit.. It's just WEIRD. Also the whole "tri-kunai" thing, naruto was going on a rampage and then just STOPPED... But now, nothing is said about it? How does that work? How would some sleezy, little shit-stain of a CIVILIAN, like gato, POSSIBLY have gotten ahold of one of those? And NOBODY seems to care suddenly? It's like Tsume's line... These things happen with ABSOLUTELY no connection to anything else.. Like in a VACUUM... They don't seem to have ANY knowledge of the past AND are not connected to anything in the immediate future. They are just REALLY "weird", disconnected moments that give "whiplash" when reading.

So Naruto is in the Namikaze estate? How does that work? How does NOBODY know his heritage now? Especially with his "mother" walking around and IS KUSHINA uzumaki? I'm confused with this "flashback" as it kinda "toasts" a lot of what you already wrote... There is also Kakashi... Shouldn't he be getting it through his head by now that these three are NEVER going to be "friends"? That just ISN'T going to happen... Naruto is an actual FUNCTIONAL adult and one of those, is NEVER going to either PUT UP WITH a nutcase like the uchiha NOR are they ever going to want to be friends with the little P.O.S. So shouldn't he just "give it up" by now? Naruto is OBVIOUSLY getting outside training, so he's just going to leave the others in the DUST, not training the team is just being LAZY. I never understood Sarutobi "hiding" naruto's heritage... Just seemed REALLY stupid... As well as pointless... "The Masked Man" got away from Minato and Kushina and he KNEW naruto survived... He was a member of the akutski which means THEY know of naruto's heritage already... One of THEM is Orochimaru.. So HE knows naruto's heritage, which means ALL of the village of oto knows naruto's heritage, which means iwa and kumo probably ALSO already know... So BASICALLY everybody BUT konoha knows the heritage of konoha's OWN shinobi, which is just REALLY retarded! Basically sarutobi's "PLAN" to keep naruto's heritage a secret was COMPLETELY SCREWED once the masked man got away! Other then all that.. It also doesn't achieve ANYTHING positive for the village, it doesn't help ANYONE, it just causes them ALL to look VERY, VERY dumb.
