I love the idea that she didn't want to really believe that he'd gone - it was really realistic. I don't actively ship this pairing very often (I've only written it on one occasion) but I think that was there to have been anything between them, this would be a fairly accurate portrayal. I like her strength in the added bit, very Minnie. I do so love Minerva :)

That was short but very well done, and it summed up how I felt when reading DH and discovering that Albus really was dead. Poor Minerva.
I can't decide if I prefer it with or without the added lines, it's nice both ways. ;)
