Wow! This actually gave me a bittersweet smile...
You see, I thought about everything except for this. I think it would be possible, since Shippo DOES looks upon Inuyasha, even if he bothers him a lot.
I understand why would you like it to have an open ending, still, I would wish to know how did Shippo planed to give the letter to Santa.
Very good job. You made me feel the point and emotions of Shippo and THAT is something.
Good luck with the muse!
Thanks!

I'm not sure what to say, but I feel like I should say something.
It does have the cute factor. I could just be concerned with if it is very likely to have or would have happened.
Apart from Shippo being cute, I'm actually worried about Inuyasha. I'm guessing this would be near the end of the manga where she hadn't been able to come back for 3 or years.
It could have been a bit better I think as I sit here and mull it over in my head.
You could have him read it to Miroku who burns it with him and maybe say a pray to Buddha over it as it goes up in smoke. Or something to show how this Santa was suppose to get the message/letter.
But I see that you just wanted to write the letter, not everything surrounding it, and I can't think of a different way for you to have worded anything nor do I anything else to add.
Nice concept for a little one shot.
