That was a good outcome, though I believe that students in your fic are too insolent. I mean in original books they feared Filch somehow, and nobody disrespected Dumbledore openly, not until Draco did in sixth book. Nobody said mean things to Filch or treated him badly openly. Filch always meant nasty detentions and people panicked against his cat as well.
