Poor, poor Argus! I felt so sorry for him! My OC was also a victim of a cruel joke that almost killed her, but at least the people who did it didn't know that it could have so bad consequences, because it was just a harmless love potion. I think that this stupid professor might be the culprit. Off to the next chapter to find out!

I agree that Filch is intelligent, but in my story he wasn't "forced" to be a caretaker as much as he just wanted to be in Hogwarts, because the Muggle lady he loved married another man and they both died. I believe that Albus Dumbledore is a boss and kind of friend for Argus Filch. And Dumbledore has unquestionable loyalty from Filch, as well in canon as in your and mine fics as well. I'm glad that we perceive this character in a similar way, but I also think that he's and old drunk :) He looks like one.

Ohhh I liked that Filch was here. I couldn't wait to see him. But my Filch is much, much darker than yours. I think that your story is just much lighter than mine. I mean Holy's life is terrible, but Severus' is better as well as Harrys and also you can see the light in the tunnel and in my story there is a tunnel that gets darker with every passed meter.
I really liked the description of Mrs Norris sitting on the turned bucket with her tail around her white legs. It was a perfect description.
Ow how I hated when Harry made an evil being of a cat, just because this cat spotted him sneaking out after curfew. Animals aren't really evil and I read fanfics where Harry kills Mrs Norris, or somebody else does and everyone is happy... I never stopped myself to tell the author what I think about this stupid idea.

It must be wonderful to have a friend like Susan. Great chapter and very interesting to read. Silver reminds of my dog that used to live with my family for sixteen years. He was huge and I often slept on his belly when I was a child.

Now that was really sad, but people are like this. Heartless and prejudiced, especially the rich ones. People who struggle with their survival, having little money are compassionate, they can understand situation of another, but just look at the types like justin bieber. He spat on his fangirls! He took one phone and wiped his ass with it! I can imagine people like him to behave like Lucius.

That was really amazing chapter! I just loved Lucius having his butt beaten :D You kept everyone in character so well. I just wonder - is Severus no longer a spy in your story? Then who is?

I really like how you developed Holly's character. She's perfectly flawed and talented and unique. She's not a mary sue and I wonder if she would have a thing for Severus in the future and would she idolize him? The fate - meaning author prepared him an interesting and happy life instead the misery he had in original books. I always felt so bad for him, even before I read the last book I knew that he was not a bad person. He was not entorely good, of course, but that just made me love him more.
