You know, all those ones you did with Shockwave/Longarm, BumbleBee and Megatron... You could turn that into a alt ending for a bridge to close.
Since it was just Megatron that was mentioned and was involved that could just mean that the Autobots did manage to destroy the space-bridge, but not before Megatron escaped through it.
It would explain why he suddenly decided to 'watch' and turned the whole thing into torture for Bumble Bee. (That and the bright yellow armor would attract his attention in what ever dark lair they were in at the time.)
Swindle could have easily sold the necklace to Shockwave in the first place.
Think about it. It could get a lot of reviews.
