Oh, you subtle one, you! At first I couldn't figure out who the Main Character was, and then it sounded as if Ron and Kim were in Choky along with Main Character. (Choky - The Klink - The Slammer - The Brig - The Big House - The Hoosgow, oh, you get the idea.) I also got the odd feeling that this connected with the Disney film "Lady and the Tramp" somehow.
Then, when All Is Revealed, it all fell into place! Sort of the way that what happens in the movie "The Sting" becomes clear only after you have seen the entire film and know what is going on. I tip my hat to you, sir, for a nicely-written little puzzle story that still ties in with the "Kim Possible" TV series beautifully.
I keep watching for more chapters to "Sarah" and "Possible Pregnancies," but this little story is equally fun to read. Thanks for the posting.

Pretty cute. I was thinking some sort of dark A/U thing until the final few paragraphs. You gotta love the pink, hairless twist at the end.
Good work taking a simple premise and spinning it into a short but intense literary thrill-ride.

I'm a little surprised, if I had submitted a guess for this contest, I would have picked you for the story about Rufus and Santa.
I've always found the pound to be an especially sad place, I love animals (mainly a dog person). Poor Rufus, stuck in a cage wondering if his humans will ever come for him. Nice ending, though I would have thought Ron would have brought some cheese for the little guy. Always nice to see Rufus get some time in the spotlight.

I am not certain if it was supposed to be a surprise ending or not... The beginning sounded a bit odd and I assumed you were trying to do something unusual, I just wasn't sure what at first. (Future setting in the Supreme One's world?) Around half way in I figured it out. But rather than diminishing any of the pleasure of reading for me it allowed me to relax and simply enjoy the story. Good job.
