if your lost the only important episodes are the ones where Ash catches his canon pokemon including the unaired Safari Zone episode which is stupid that they gave Brock a Happiny which becomes a Blissey eventually when he could have gotten a Chansey from the Safari zone then somebody else would get that happiny egg and also Brock's Marowak from Sun and Moon stupid. brock could have caught a Marowak as early as Kanto latest maybe Johto. speaking of Johto you can trade Ash's extra pokemon during the Tricks of Trade episode. Misty important capture would be Horsea and maybe a poliwag in the safari zone instead of waiting for the orange islands

if you the safari zone episode you can give Ash Dratini or a Dratini egg appears on the S.S Anne. misty can get more water types and maybe another poliwag. brock can get a chansey to get his canon Blissey without waiting for the happiny egg in sinnoh.

Wait, so... Ash is a sixteen year-old girl and there are actually people who mistake her for a boy? I'm not sure I can suspend my disbelief quite to that extent.
Swapping the main character's gender is a big enough change that you aren't going to be able to avoid changing the way certain characters interact with her. It simply isn't feasible. Having Gary believe she's the wrong gender in order to give them the same relationship that Ash and Gary have in canon simply doesn't hold water.

Ah, so it sucks to see this hasn't been updated in a while and this is just a author's note. I finally got around to reading this whole story, though I stumbled on it long before and just hadn't been able to get passed the first chapter due to continually getting distracted and having to do other stuff and eventually forgetting.
It's good. Could be better with less author notes being inserted into the story (interrupts the flow) and the many typos, spelling and grammar mistakes. I also enjoy it better when the chapter is a moderate length (I admit that of the longer chapters, some of it is way too long and too much like canon, so I ended up skimming or skipping parts). You definitely should take to getting away more and more from canon to keep it original and fresh.
As for Ashley's father, if you're still deciding on it, on principle I can't vote on Giovanni since Giovanni/Ash is my OTP XD Therefore, I guess I'll go with...uh, Norman. Then again, Archie would make it interesting since he seems like he could be a wild character and with his and Ash's personalities, the world is doomed?
I hope one day you'll come back to this.

I also didn't like episodes 8 and 9 (especially 8), and barely liked the Bulbasaur episode. The Charmander and Squirtle episodes were alright by me.
As for that quote, is it that "I've fallen and I can't get up?" I don't know about movie, but I know it's similar to that old people commercial (I think Life Alert or something?).

Sandshrew is a Ground-Type not a Rock-Type. Just to clear that up. Electric Attacks still wouldn't work well against them.
