I discovered Naruto when the last movie was already out. But god it feel so wrong!
How could mister stubborn number one give up his love for Sakura? through and through the serie he had his heart throbbing for her, he blushed, he refuse all girls coming at him because he declare being in love with Sakura. And Sakura, i admit was not in love with Naruto in the beginning but slowly we had seen her love develop. Naruto had been able to change the heart of anyone, why not Sakura? She deny it... but she is over protective of him, he is the first person she think of. Even Yamato recognize her feeling when Naruto change in teh fourth tail in the battle with oroshimaru. And Sai tease her in the movie bond. This pairing had to survive at least in fanfic!

Narusaku was a red herring and a decoy to throw off the trail of the actual pairings. Still fans can like what they want. The most logical pairings made it out in the end.

You people take pairings WAY too seriously. Really. Who gives two hoots if NaruHina or NaruSaku happens? It won't affect your life in any dramatic way.
I'm too tired right now to come up with a rebuttal for all of your arguments, but let me just say this: similar to how Sakura confessing her love to Sasuke couldn't make him love her, Naruto constantly alluding to dates when she expressly told him she doesn't consider their outings as such would have the same effect. I know from experience that rejecting the same person over and over again is both tiring and annoying, and it doesn't surprise me that she still reacts somewhat violently to it.

I would like to add the fact that no one in the Rookie 9 has died and, and there have been instances where a death could've been dramatic but wasted, see Nate River's comments in the Heaven & Earth narusaku website (narusaku(.)com) about Chp. 47. So to miraculously bring Hinata back even if she seems to have clearly died would waste that chance. (Jiraiya's death was not personally experienced by Naruto, it's different from hearing a person's death than seeing it in front of your eyes, and Kakashi's currently limbo right? Hey may still be alive.) To Ugly News, there really hasn't been any much development between Naruto's and Hinata's relationship, at most they've had more interaction during the Hinata vs. Neji than Shippuden. I also believe that regardless of confession, he still would've reacted so violently if someone like Chouji or Rock Lee sacrificed themselves for him. Besides, it's not like Kishi would pull a Rowling and pair up Naruto and Hinata with little to no development.

i like both pairings, and yet youre arguments are very valid. i agree with all of those statements. but, naruto will probably take what she said more to heart than sasuke did with sakura only because naruto isnt a cold person like sasuke. in either case i enjoyed reading your rant laterz

well what happens if Sakura goes with the traitor Sasuke and Hinata dies then? Won't it suck for poor Naruto I mean she still loves the traitor and maybe it will change when she finds out he's part of the Akatsuki but maybeit won't change so don't you guys at least feel bad if Naruto has no one to love him? I used to hate both pairings but the more I thought about it I grew to respect NaruSaku and NaruHina coupling. Just wondering
