A skillfully written piece. Well done. Your use of characterisation for the boys was superb, especially with John's withdrawn and distant personality. It's perfectly understandale for a boy at his age to be affected in such a way by the sudden loss of his mother. Very plausable reasoning there.
I LOVE Susan. You're written her so well, and I'm really beginning to warm to her character (which again shows that you've done a great job, because introducing OCs for the first time is no easy task). Wonderful work.

Very sweet story so far. I love the affection between the boys. And Susan seems awesome. I hope John will wam up to her and not see her as someone trying to take his mother's place (something I wouldn't be surprised if other caretakers had tried).

Hi, welcome back. Good to see you with a new story. Yeah, poor Jeff, certainly seems to have his hands full and John just doesn't seem to be enjoying himself at all. Something tells me though that nice nanny Susan is going to be able to bring him round.

The boys' characters very much seem to fit (as always!) with where they are in their timeline, and I'm hoping there's going to be a happy ending- especially for John.

Wow, you finally have a new story up. I'll admit, I love wee Tracy stories and yours has started out quite well. Poor John has me worried but hopefully things will get better before too long.
Your description of the boys lined up, following Susan was good and gave me a cute little visual of them.
