Both Patti and I enjoyed your story. Very sweet.
It certainly keeps with everything we thought would happen when Klink reached Heaven. All his guilt, grief and loneliness would be expunged as he realizes his parents had forgiven him, and were waiting for him to join them. And he would know that his long-ago commitment and sacrifice had indeed saved his brother, regardless of Wolfgang’s choices after the war. You portrayed that well by offering Klink an escort to Heaven’s door.
