The characters were believable and the emotions kept me involved throughout. It would look great in a comic book format and I'm anxious to bring it to life!
Thank you for sharing this amazing piece, I look forward to hearing more of your stories!
Warm regards,
Addy.

No offense meant, but this could benefit from a beta. The idea is interesting, though.

This is brilliant. Fantastic! A masterpiece! I hardly even know what to say to do justice to this. This was so creative and I loved the way you blended the AU story with the movie canon. Everything flowed just right.
This is a deeply emotional piece and I am still reeling from the masterful way you told the story. I loved the idea that Inuyasha's ghost was with her throughout the wrong future life she lived and that his presence grew stronger as she got closer to the age where she should have met him. You drew such a dismal picture of the future under Naraku's rule, but it seemed completely believable. Poor Kagome was nothing like her former self, having grown up in slavery. Yet, there was that spark that Inuyasha could reach and bring out.
You did SUCH a good job of revealing what had happened to make things go so awry. And I really liked the way you brought her back to herself to get everything back to the way it should be. It was simply brilliant. I'll give you a standing ovation right here at my computer. ^_^
Of course, what I most especially loved was Inuyasha's realization of his feelings and of how Kagome made him into so much more than he was without her. Sad that when she went back to fix things, he hadn't reached that point yet, but at least we know he will. ^_^ His words to her when he was still more ghost than solid just made me go all gooey inside: "I am always with you. I need to be with you." Boy, do I wish that was canon! ^_~
You completely nailed Kagome's purpose and strengths, too. When Kirara was telling her what her true strength was, I was jsut sitting here nodding my head. "Your true power was to make it a pride or what you call family." And then when Kagome was nearly killed by Naraku and she came to realize what power she really wanted, I just wanted to cheer. Yes! You got it all exactly right. "The power to protect the ones that are special to me." And "The power to love and be loved by someone."
I moved on from my love of Inu/Kag to a love for crossovers (Hiei/Kagome, in particular) a couple of years ago, but it stories like yours which remind me that my love for Inu/Kag is still here, too. I thank you for that and I hope you will write more. Your ideas are fantastic and your grasp of the characters is perfect. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us!
