That's a real brilliant gem you've given us readers, dear author, and I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for it.

. My heart - it's actually /hurting/. By the /Lord/ - that last part - after Snape transformed, especially Harry's reaction - that was so...
Merlin.

A lovely story. Obviously harsh content about mental health, misunderstandings, miscommunication, and, I think, wilful blindness. I read this for the Snape part, and it was just lovely. I don’t know how this Dumbledore would be able to go through with the suicide plan though, not after learning about Harry’s hardship. But, if there truly is no other way, then… savage.

this was a delight ! very well written and characterized. I'm sad it ended and wasn't more but at the same time it kinda ended perfectly i think

This was not what I was expecting but it definitely left me satisfied in a way that this sub genre has rarely (if ever?) accomplished.
It stands alone as an incredible piece of fiction. The character development was in line with what we expect from two people who start off in Canon snarling and devolve from there.
The clever plot device to remove that "natural" reaction brings out the Harry Potter that makes me keep seeking HP ff's. Your Snape is someone who is worthy of his Alan Rickman induced fan base.
You wrap it up at a solid 'turning point', with much more story to be told, but your part of this AU tale feels Complete.
Well done and thank you for sharing your time and talent.
