This chapter was absolutely worth it, and I hope you please, please, please come back to this! I am so I'm love with this crazy story! Your Kirk is so perfectly Kirk-y and I love that while the inn still had a fire, Rory and Jess went to the potting shed again, leaving Luke and Lorelai alone to do their own thing :) I feel so bad for adult Rory hurting so much at this version of her younger self getting to be so happy with Jess. I want to know if Rory still chooses Yale to be close or if Jess would move to Boston with her to do publishing stuff there, since that would probably be an option. I hope she still does Yale, because Paris should be in her life. I would love to know how this story ends!

I forgot to mention this last chapter: Jess should confide in Lane about future Rory! If anyone has a chance of believing in his conspiracy theory, it's her! Plus, she's a good schemer/sleuther so I think it would be a great team up. And she could help him device about the handwriting! Or he should confront adult Rory. She floundered a bit when he accused her of stalking him, so if he just went up to her and asked her about her notebook and canned her Rory, she would totally flounder again!
As for this chapter, wow! I absolutely love that Rory took Jess to the potting shed because she felt him closing off. That's a special place for her, so a special place to do that! I also like that adult Rory felt cheated because this version of herself got what she so desperately had wanted. And young Rory making the joke about the growler- my word, you made appropriately hilarious and sexy.

"You took the people of Stars Hollow and captured them completely with your words. The stories you weaved around them were insightful, hilarious, compelling and poignant. I sincerely believe that you will one day be a household name in the literary world." This was from "Ms McFly" to Jess, but I feel like I can say the same thing to you! I don't know if you're a writer by profession, but I think you could be!
As for the editing notes Rory left for Jess, I wonder if she thought to disguise her handwriting with those! Or if she ever slipped up... Intrigue! I'm worried that with two chapters left, I'm going to be very disappointed... Hopefully something more is figure out in these couple chapters!
The gossiping was hilarious and amazing. I love it. And the Jess/Rory moment? so satisfying and heartwarming.

I did not see that curve ball! I love that Rory confronted Dean and blamed him, and only kinda believed he didn't do it. It was even better when she asked Jess and did believe him when he confirmed it wasn't Dean. I love that Rory was somewhat sad it wasn't Dean because she wanted a good excuse for Jess ghosting her. It feels so realistic for Rory. I also love that Jess got to witness Rory railing on Dean. Another amazing rant by Rory, followed by an unsatisfying, but understandable (from our point of view at least!) explanation from Jess. I love how he was able to calm her down and boil it down to "not my secret to share, but I love you- don't question that". Can I have a Jess? Pretty please?

Paris is so unique, yet you always capture her perfectly. Her annoyance at Rory, followed by awkward caring and even more awkward hug was just perfect. And oh snap, Jess: 0, swan: 1! I wonder if Rory will expect he got into a fight with Dean due to their last encounter. But will she trust him this time? I don't know... She's pretty moody right now..

I did predict there would be issues due to adult Rory wiping the locker! Oops! And I loved the rest of this chapter, but gosh, I just have to say WHAT HAPPENED!? Did the truck break down on the high way? Did Dean and Jess have an altercation? Even if that was the case, Jess could've called.. gosh, I didn't see this coming at all!

Love the power move by Paris to oust Francie! That was amazing! I totally didn't think about the fact that Rory's prints would be on Francie's locker- just adult Rory's! Good stinking thing she overheard the gossip! Also, I'm now confused where Jess stands on this whole "Ms McFly" thing. He seemed like he was really trying to figure out who she was, then totally got sidetracked, I guess?

Mother/daughter banter- on point! And oh my word, Sookie is one of my favorites. I love her and you wrote her so, so well! Lastly, finally adult Rory is made aware of the problem that came of her necking with Rory! Uh oh!

Rory's rant about Jess just dropping that bomb and running was so satisfying! I love that Jess actually admits that Dean is still in love with Rory and that he is expecting she'll come back to him. Sweet Rory was way too naive to realize that that was the case, so he's just telling her was so helpful! And then the two of them reading that silly book together- adorable and amazing. And lastly, aww, Lorelai actually asked Luke out! Yay!

Okay, first off, "mommy Luke" is an amazingly hilarious mental image. And second, OH MY GOSH, HE SAID IT! I'm totally reeling I've the fact that Jess just told Rory "I love you" and gave her a book and took off. Oh my gosh! This is amazing! And I figured the book was satirical, but reading your note and learning this is a real book kinda makes me want to go find it now. It sounds appropriately hilarious.

I'm totally reeling I've the fact that Jess just told Rory "I love you" and gave her a book and took off. Oh my gosh! This is amazing! I am so in love with this story and your writing. You capture the whole feeling, the vibe, of the show perfectly. I laugh during each chapter because the banter is just flawless and the humor is perfect. I love that adult Rory is able to give Jess a priceless piece of information about absences, and I about died when she reacted the exact same way to be startled, hence stunned Jess. I've been thinking about Jess asking adult Rory to read his writing a few chapters back and I can't decide why he did it. Is it because he already suspected that she may be future Rory, and who better to read his stuff? Or has she actually just gained his respect? I hope we get to know what he wrote!

Oh, this is amazing! I have a feeling I'll be staying up way too late finishing this fic because I can't put it down! I love how Sookie doesn't believe that lorelai isn't the one breaking the taps. I love that Rory admits to Jess that she talked to her mom about wanting to sleep with him, and later Jess ends up seeing that she bought something related to that! Oh my! So good. And I love how young and adult Rory are so stinking similar (I mean, duh, but I love it)

I like that Jess's car got stolen for parts, sad as it was. But I love that Jess actually talked to Rory about this publishing idea! I'm so intrigued to see where this story will go!
