As with Alpha, this chapter is short and effective. Marrybell's forces are trying to force their way into Moscow, and the Eurasian forces are making them pay for it. Andrei channelling Ramba Ral was a fun touch, but it doesn't bode well for his chances.
That said, the Black Knights have arrived, and Zero's plan is underway. This is a desperate situation, but with Marrybell throwing everything she has at this battle, it's also an opportunity to hit her hard.
I await the next chapter with some trepidation.

Just wanted to say-I've been following this fanfic for 10 years. I don't see every update, but every once in a while when I check, it's always comforting (and crazy) to know that Megiddo continues to power on. Truly a masterpiece, and you're an incredible writer.

Good chapter, though the Queen and Empress line was raised some questions. It's good to see that the characters are doing what they can to enjoy festivities, before a grave and important battle. I do hope though that the next one will focus on the Eurasian Far East's last stand.

Y'know, I am happy that Jeremiah defected to the Black Knights, but I think it was a bit too abrupt. Seeing someone consumed with a zealous hatred suddenly pull a Heel-Face Turn and join the man he hated and literally killed at one point is a bit unrealistic. Still, I look forward to what other surprises this story will bring forth.

A Christmas chapter, and the prelude to what I suspect will be one of the most desperate - and crucial - battles of the entire war. Here, the fate of Eurasia - and perhaps the world - will be decided.
Meanwhile our heroes, on all sides, celebrate Christmas and prepare for the coming storm as best they can. Marrybell dreams of some dreadful scheme, while her seemingly-unknowing followers enjoy their time together.
But most importantly of all, Lelouch and Kallen take their relationship to yet another level. It might be their last chance.
A nice little Christmas chapter. I look forward to the coming battle.
