Ok so here's my personal opinion on taking blood. I know that you must take a vampires blood 3 times within a month or 2 to form a bond.
However, I have a few learning disorders that would make it difficult to keep track.
Important point- I wouldn't want a blood bond within anyone but my mate.
With both points in mind, I'd be OK taking another vampires blood to save my own life. PROVIDED that I had NOT had any vampires blood but my mates in a few months

It so annoys me any time a Sookie in any story chooses not to read someone. Quinn has already betrayed her in the past, why not take a peak through his pea brain? But I don't suffer from a case of morality I suppose, I'd have no qualms about reading any and everyone. You have a talent, may as well utilize it.
