A suit made out of Kryptonite that bursts into flames when touched.
Oh, Bruce. Couldn't you just have stayed at home until the meteor shower passed by?
"Sorry I was out but I was sick. Yeah, touch of the Black Death. Look, I've got a note from the doctor and everything!"
Ah, saved from a fate worse than death by Nightwing, huh? Plus this probably means Dick won't be wanting to join the League any time soon, after being dragged off by Shayera, which is all to the good.
Unless Dick will now want to join the League in hopes of being dragged off by Shayera on a regular basis?

Aw. Poor Batman. Did not see that one coming. But it was pretty hilarious, even though Batman got beat up. At the same time, his paranoia about Superman and J'onn trying to mate with him was terrific! I was cracking up for a while. Great fic!

Omg I'm breathless with laughter.. each scene was so funny I couldn't stop giggling & successively built up to my fit of laughter, just don't ask me how I'm managing to be sane enough to type! J'onn sniffles & has Chocos for comfort food? About Hawkgirl.. though gross, that is EXACTLY the essence of her character! XD
Thank Hera Diana didn't smash Bruce's face right in.. & poor Nightwing! Ok, honestly, I've just got this big, evil grin on my face right now, & I'm not really feeling all that bad for poor *sending me into splits* Nightwing with Hawkgirl! "..at least let me take you out to dinner sometime!.." lol, loved it! ;D
I'm not making sense anymore, so just one last thing - thank you, for without you I could never ever EVER have imagined Hawkgirl eating *snorts with laughter & chokes, falls onto the floor* chocolates! That idea seems so funny, or maybe that's just coz of the sugar-rush I got after eating lots of chocolates myself :D

Hee. *giggles* As soon as Shayera came in I was like...HEL-lo, Rampaging Alien! Poor Nightwing...though I suppose he can handle himself. ^^
But seriously, I'm no Shayera fangirl but she went up a thousand times in my estimtion for destroying that awful suit (I wondered in the first chapter what the heck was exactly wrong with her but figured it was just normal hormones, lol). I suppose I can see the logic in the suit, but if he was _that_ worried about aliens, and if he was thinking _clearly_, he would have had some Nth metal or something in there too to repel Shayera's mace as well as the other 'aliens' - therefore he _wasn't_ thinking clearly, and Alfred was right - because he always is, that's a Fundamental Law of the DCAU. :)
Poor Clark, though, not to mention J'onn! :( *hugs Superman and gives the Martian more cookies* As soon as he grabbed for Bruce I was like NO, dont! *facepalm* Poor guy. And poor Batman, too - he must have felt awful about it.
And he should, though it looks like Shayera punished him pretty badly. And being the only non-super-powered guy in the group, I guess he should get leniency for being a little paranoid.
I don't suppose you could be persuaded to add a final scene of the bridge after the Thanagarian left with Nightwing? *shamelessly wanted h/c after that fiasco* Somebody has some major talking to do. (Plus they'd better make sure they get all the slivers of that suit off the bridge! Eep).
And you do that kind of fluff so WELL. *super-puppy eyes*

I never realized that Superman, Wonder Woman, AND Batman have black hair and blue eyes. Now I want to know why. Your fic is great. I love how everyone seems to have great respect and fear for Batman. He is my favorite character of all time. Plus with Nightwing there, it is like added humor. But Booster Gold's part was priceless too. Hope that you update again soon.
