nice story, it's not the fact one makes a 1000 paper cranes that gets a person better, it's the amount of time that it takes to make them all
still nice though

I know this is really old but if I could see time... it would look like transparent colors, like those red or green or yellow wrap things

Just thought I'd put this in: Cho is my favourite character (aside from Lisbon/Jane, obviously) haha. ;)
The dialogue in this chapter (especially) made me smile. :D I thoroughly enjoyed it - along with the ending. I wish Jane would make me 10 paper cranes... I have a cold and it's been on and off for several days: annoying. lol. :P
I loved this story. It was beautiful and in-character. :) xo

Well, my favourite line in this was: "You look miserable," he told her brightly.
And that made me smile. But then it got to the end of this chapter, and I was so sad. :( It must be dreadful for Jane... I feel so sorry for him. I'm really enjoying your writing, though. You capture the characters really well, and the dialogue fits their personalities. :) I really like it.
Well, on to the last chapter. :) You know, I think Jane/Lisbon have a brother/sister relationship in the way they banter, but there could be a little teasy type of romance between them. I just don't think that (almost) every fan's fantasy of them becoming an item because of Jane's turmoil over his wife and daughter... I dunno. I'm rambling. XD
See ya. xo

Greetings. :)
First of all: time. I don't know if you still want an answer to that question, but I'll give it to you anyway. ;) haha. I think time is like a glistening bubble and time travel occurs when you choose to jump outside the protection of that bubble, and jump in again at a different point, thus skipping time - I hope that made sense. ^^" lol.
But anyway, your fanfic. :D I absolutely adore Jane - he's beautiful. This is really gorgeous so far, I can't wait to read the rest. Oh, but once when you wrote Lisbon, you had a capital I in her name. That's all. :) xo

I don't think it's odd at all that the conversion just came out of no where, that's usually the way it works for me, it just happens. I can't force it. That begin said, I did like this story.

Time is color, twisting throughout history, present and future. Imagine a helix (scientific representation of DNA), twisting forward and back through thought, experience and knowledge.
Everyone has different strands reaching off of them, joining others and interconnecting with the multitudes that ebb and flow from objects, buildings and animate objects (ie trees, animals).
I suppose it would be quite psychotic/schizophrenic for the
see-er' of time.
Sidenote, great start to this story! Loved the paper crane idea, seems exactly what Jane would do to cheer up Lisbon :)
